WTF Moment Of The Week: Rediff.com

August 1st, 2006 Posted in India, Pakistan, Politics, USA, WTF Moment

Today morning when I opened rediff.com, there was a very surprising headline at the top, “US didn’t have guts to offer us same N-deal : Pakistan”. Now, based upon previous record, at least one thing is certain; the Pakistani establishment is not known to talk to USA like this. So, I was literally shocked. When I clicked the link, it was actually about Yashwant Sinha (ex-Foreign Affairs Minister, GOI) raving and ranting on how the current Indian government has sold out on the nuclear deal and that the US didn’t had guts to offer the same deal to the NDA government!

The headline remained there for many hours. Finally, somebody decided to drop ‘Pakistan’ from it. Link for the story is here.

Would you please share the trick you use to convert your title photo?

    Mohib,

The side bar of your blog is all the way down in IE.

Thank you Mariam, the IE sidebar problem it was due to the Flickr imgae I posted. I have reconfigured it now. I should check my site in IE more often.

    :-)

As for my title photo, I presume you are talking about the one I use in my Technorati profile. If that is the case, then I used Photoshop to edit it. I can go back and look into what exactly I did, if you prefer so.

    Mohib,

I’m talking about the photo at http://www.mohib.net/

I can go back and look into what exactly I did, if you prefer so.

Only if it’s not too much trouble for you.

Open your image in Photoshop, then go to Filter>Artistic>Fresco.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks Mohib!

It’s a big help, though my end product dosen’t look half good as yours ;) but it’ll do the job.
